Ortosacco

Ortosacco is the second project I've made for Aggregato. This time I didn't just want a design project but an object with a kind of deeper "personality", useful in the first place but poetic at the same time. I started from the need to recycle PVC bags, commonly used to contain legumes and dried fruits, and I reflected about the food value and the importance of being aware of what we eat, and therefore of what we are. I think that taking care of plants contribute to increase our sensitivity for the nature, and anyway it's beautiful to see your seeds growing up! I exhibited the work with Antonella Di Luca at Aggregato on the first day of spring. After the exhibition I receveid some messages from people that were so happy and surprised to see the seeds being a plant.
